I meet with children and families at my private practice located at 44 Washington St, Wellesley, MA. I recommend that we work together in person at my office but am also able to meet virtually in cases when meeting in-person is not an option (i.e., health reasons, inclement weather, transportation issues). The office is conveniently located near the mass pike (I-90), route 128/95, and route 9, and there is free parking right outside of the office and comfortable waiting areas for families.
Rates for Consultation, Psychotherapy, and Instructional Services
My rate is $220 for a 50-minute session. I recommend scheduling up to 3 sessions to begin to see if we are a good match. Once a therapeutic relationship is established, you have the option to pre-pay and reserve a time for your child for a longer period of time (up to 3 months). This can often be helpful in establishing short-term goals and making a commitment in the same way an adolescent does when joining a sports team for a season or taking a semester of music lessons. I accept payments through Venmo, check, or cash. I do not accept health insurance.
Rates for Evaluation Services
I have a very high standard for the quality of my evaluations and spend the time necessary to do an excellent job. Rates for evaluations will vary depending on needs but generally range between $2000 and $3500. Costs can be higher than this in some cases when a child has more complex learning needs or social-emotional factors that require additional assessments, or in cases when a family needs guidance, advocacy, and support working with their child’s school. My fees for evaluations take into account the time spent working directly with you and your child, preparation, materials, scoring and analysis of tests, the writing of the evaluation report, and a feedback session to go over results.

Begin by booking a consultation session with me so that we can discuss concerns and the reason you are seeking an evaluation. After speaking with you, I personalize the evaluation based on the purpose and the presenting problems and will be able to determine the cost of the evaluation based on the scope and purpose. If through our consultation I believe that an evaluation is not appropriate or needed, I will be transparent about this and explain potential outcomes so you can make an informed decision. I will always provide quotes based on the appropriate amount of time required to fully address your concerns and you are not obligated to continue with the evaluation after receiving an estimate from me.
